Takk fyrir mig (Thank You) is a new Icelandic tapestry of scenes taking a sceptical look at 'normal Icelandic people' through hysterical means that make fun of both form and content. Commonplace objects are placed in alien context, whether they are Domino's pizza and cola drinks, pastel colours and table covers, anniversaries and football talk, or casual racism and birthday gifts.

Venjulegt íslenskt fólk (Normal Icelandic People) is an independent theatre group formed around the production of Takk fyrir mig.
